Media relays no longer go to the Cloudflare tunnel after one failure: they follow the main rules (three failures, two minutes). The tunnel, which a throttled network freezes after ~16 KB, counts a stalled socket against itself and only proves itself past that size, so a frozen tunnel gets suppressed instead of being reset by its first answer. Logging: without a proxy the MTP lines said transport=Tcp even over a WSS relay; they now say WSS or WSSTunnel with the relay route. Each WSS socket writes one attempt_summary line (host, bytes each way, upgrade and first-data times, lifetime), and log.txt records every relay failure, suppression and restoration. |
